This craft is a helpful reminder for kids to say the Morning Offering. Once it's completed it can be hung on the refrigerator, next to their bed, or anywhere they will see it as a reminder to say this wonderful prayer each morning.

I love all your ideas! They are so fun and easy to do! I have done 3 of your projects they are so fun to do! :) Thanks for your site, it is so amazing!
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you! I'm very glad you are enjoying them! May God Bless you.
DeleteI have a question for you, if that is all right. I have a Mormon friend who says that having statues and pictures is idolatry...is it? Thank you very much.
ReplyDeleteLovingly in the Risen Christ,
Nicholas
Hi Nicholas! I don't mind, I'm happy to help.
DeleteAs Catholics we do not worship statues or images. These things are nothing more than a "stand-in" for the real saint and/or God. It's kinda like a person who has a picture of a loved one who has died. Are they worshiping that picture when they kiss it or talk to it? No. The picture is just a stand-in for that deceased person. Our religious statues and pictures are just the same as those pictures we keep of deceased friends.
I actually have a post about that topic. You're welcome to read it.... http://www.crafolic.com/2011/09/about-catholics-and-statues-as-child-i.html
I hope that helps.
May God bless you.
Jennifer,
