St. Patrick could wear a brown robe, but I kinda liked green. It matched his mitre.
I made the mitre by cutting two green felt sheets into a mitre shape and sewing just the bottom sides together.

I added white and gold trimmed ribbon to the bottom and the two "tails" on the back.
It also has a three leaf clover and a white felt cross on the front.
I also hot glued a strip of heavy cardboard to the inside of each felt piece to keep it up-right.
