St Lucia's Feast Day Fun! {Easy Ideas}


Happy St. Lucia's Feast Day!
Here are a few easy last minute ideas to make the day a little more interesting!

Here is the recipe we used; the only thing I changed was that I added green food coloring to the icing. I also added red sprinkles and a few white candles.

LOVE this idea and the idea with the Tilma as well! I think we are doing a belated craft on Monday. We are filled to the brim with a Christmas Concert and all that it details to plan. =)

Your cake turned out so pretty Jennifer! The green color does truly pop out in the picture. But your daughter wearing the crown for the Feast of St. Lucy is the absolute best!

I am going to try to remember this post for next year. I didn't do much for St Lucia day this year. I think in future years, we will swap the Lady of Guadalupe with St Lucia day celebrations --making one "big" and one "easy"... On another note - I LOVE all your crafts and whatnot here. You are so talented, yet real.
