St. Nicholas Craft [Liturgical Ornament}

St. Nicholas feast day (Dec. 6th) is always so much fun!  Our family has had some very fun St. Nicholas feast days in the past and I'm hoping this year will be another! I'm sure you all know about St. Nicholas, so I'm going to skip the mini bio. that I normal do when I post an ornament. But if you want to read about St. Nicholas click HERE and HERE.
You will need:
  • red felt
  • white felt
  • yellow felt
  • tan or peach felt
  • dark blue or black felt
  • blue sharpie marker (optional)
  • scissors (these kind work well)
  • glue (hot glue, felt glue,  or tacky glue - like this or this)
  • thread and needle for the looped hanger

First cut out the parts like those above. We used the blue marker to add an outline to the red parts, but this is optional.
Add the body and head to the navy blue/ black background.
Now add the cloak.
Next add the miter and beard.
Finally, add the yellow cross and the staff.
Now, cut off the extra background and add your looped hanger.
Isn't he so cute!!
Enjoy!

St. Nicholas, pray for us!
May God bless you all with joy!
